// Betclic is a word puzzle game in which you trace letters to grow words and coax a wilted glasshouse back into bloom.
[01] Information collected // inputs
None. Betclic has no account system, no sign-in and no server, so there is nothing for us to receive. If you set a gardener name or mark, it is written to your device's local database and never leaves it.
[02] Local storage // on-device
Kept in OS-level local storage on your device, never uploaded:
- Level progress — stars earned, best score and completion count for each level
- The gardener name and mark you choose, if you set one
- Your mote balance and lifetime mote total (the in-game currency)
- Achievement progress and which achievements you have unlocked
- A word log — which words you have formed and how many times, used for the in-app statistics
- Growth tier for each plant track in the nursery
- Daily reward claim counts and the date of your last claim
- Which story chapters you have seen, and whether you have finished the tutorial
- Display and accessibility preferences — calm motion, readable tiles and chapter cards
Uninstalling the app deletes every byte.
[03] Permissions // runtime
None. The Android manifest declares no runtime permissions and the iOS build requests no permission usage descriptions. Betclic never asks for camera, location, microphone, contacts, photo library or external storage access. When you tap Share, the app hands plain text to your operating system's standard share sheet; you choose the destination, and the app has no access to the apps, contacts or accounts you pick.
[04] Network // egress
None. Betclic is fully offline. The app contains no HTTP client, no WebView, no sockets and no cloud SDK — the word list and the entire game engine ship inside the installed app. It behaves identically in airplane mode, and nothing is ever transmitted off your device.
[05] Third parties // vendors
None that collect data. Betclic integrates no analytics, advertising, attribution or crash-reporting SDK. Its dependencies are local-only libraries: sqflite (the on-device database), flutter_bloc (state management), share_plus (the operating system share sheet), flutter_animate, intl and collection (animation, formatting and list helpers). None of them transmit data.
[06] Children // coppa/gdpr-k
Betclic is suitable for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, so it does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR-K). No account, age gate or parental consent flow is required to play.
[07] Your rights // you
Everything stays on your device, so you remain in full control at all times. Clearing the app's data erases all progress permanently — on Android via Settings → Apps → Betclic → Storage → Clear data, and on iOS by deleting the app. Uninstalling removes the local database entirely. Because there is no server-side copy, there is nothing for us to access, export, correct or delete on your behalf.
